Teamwork makes the dream work! Get to know some of our staff at EEL in today’s #WeddingWednesday blog post 🙂 Today the spotlight goes to: Ellen & Katie!

My name is Ellen Ranney, I am the Production Manager at Elegant Event Lighting.  I went to Columbia College Chicago for my BA in Theater Design emphasis in Scenic Design.  In theater I loved working as a team to bring ideas from concept to reality.  Now at Elegant Event Lighting I am part of a wonderful team that brings couples dreams to reality and I love being able to see the process from beginning to end.

Hi, I’m Katie, I’m the Assistant Production Manager here at Elegant Event Lighting. I graduated From Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors in English, and while I was earning my degree I worked for EEL (5 years, to be exact!).  After graduation, I earned a full time position and have worked my way up ever since. The attraction to this job came from the creative aspect it could provide. I appreciate that the work we generate is unique and that I’m able to be creative while working. My weaknesses are cheese and horses. <3
